Rules

ADMISSION
  • Admission to this School is guided by conditions of age, ability and conduct. Applicants for admission can be tested and admitted to the standard they are found fit for.
  • STANDARD CRITERIA
    PRE KG 3 Years Plus (As on 1st of June)
    L.K.G. 4 Years Plus (As on 1st of June)
    H.K.G. 5 Years Plus (As on 1st of June)
    1st 6 Years Plus (As on 1st of June)
  • No admission is complete until the Leaving Certificate, with student's UID No. from the previous recognised school is produced
  • If the pupil comes from other State or Board the School Leaving Certificate should be and countersigned by the Educational Office of their State.
  • For all fresh admissions a Self-Attested Photo Copy of the below mentioned documents should be produced in the office.
  1. Recent Passport Size Photographs of Child & Parents (2 photos each)
  2. Original School Leaving Certificate of the Previous School. (Std. 1 Onwards)
  3. Birth Certificate of child.
  4. Aadhaar Card of child.
  5. BPL Card of family. (If applicable)
  6. Caste Certificate of Child or Parent. (If applicable)
  7. Baptism Certificate of Child. (For Catholics only)
  8. Minority Certificate of Child or Parent. (If applicable)
  9. 1st Page of Bank Passbook of the Child or having Joint Name with Parents.
  10. Yearly Income Certificate of Parent, issued by Mamlatdaar Office. (Applicable for students applying for Government Scholarship)
  11. Photo ID Proof of Parents. (PAN, Aadhaar Card or Driving Licence)
  • At the time of admission, the students should be introduced personally by their parent/guardian who will be responsible for their studies, fees, conduct and discipline.
  • The principal reserves to himself all the rights of admission to all classes (KG to XII).
WITHDRAWAL
  • No Leaving Certificate will be issued unless applied for, in the proper form given from the school office duly filled by the parent or guardian and after all the dues have been paid. Fees are due as long as no notice of withdrawal is given.
  • If the Leaving Certificate is not asked for within one year, a fee of `10/- will be charged for each year. Duplicate certificates will be issued ordinarily when the application is supported by an affidavit stating the reason and a fee of ` 50/- will be charged.
DISMISSAL
  • Irregular attendance, habitual disobedience or defiance of authority, lack of sufficient improvement in studies and conduct even after warnings, or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
ATTENDANCE
  • As regular attendance is an important element of education, no leave of absence will be granted except for a serious reason.
  • For long absence, Parents/Guardians must state clearly the reason for the absence such as religious celebration, marriage, social function, sickness etc. Failure to do so invalidates the application.
  • Leave of absence must be obtained from the Principal or the Vice-Principal. Half-day leave will not be granted to students unless there is a serious reason. Once they come to school, they have to attend the whole day. Students are not allowed to go out of the school campus during the school hours including the recess time. In case of serious illness, the principal must be informed within five days with a doctor’s certificate, accompanied by the leave application by the parents.
  • Those who return to school after remaining absent for more than a week shall enter the class with the leave note countersigned by the Principal or the Vice-Principal.
  • Uncertified absence for more than 15 working days renders a student liable to be removed from the rolls and usual admission fee will be charged if he/she is re-admitted.
DISCIPLINE
  • No student who has been absent without leave or is late will be admitted to class without the Principal's/Vice-principal's permission/signature in the handbook
  • During the absence of the teacher the monitors will be responsible for the discipline and order in the class.
  • If a student is coming late for more than three times in a month, he/she needs to meet the Principal/Vice Principal with Parents to resume attending the class.
  • When the students move along the corridors they must walk with discipline and salience.
  • The school premises should always be kept neat and clean. Everyone must take care to dispose of waste materials into the litter bins or dustbins provided in the school campus/classroom.
  • No collection of any kind whatsoever shall be done and no meeting, party of picnic, or any kind of organised school activity shall be arranged without the prior approval of the principal.
  • Each and every student should endeavour to keep high the refined tone of the school by excelling in good manners and deportment.
  • The Handbook issued to every student at the beginning of the year is to be kept intact and neat all through the year and brought to school every day. It is the means of communication for the school authorities and staff with the parents about the child. At the same time, it is an important document of the student's career and conduct at school.
  • Students are not allowed to write anything in the diary- part of the handbook. It must be safely kept all through the year and will not be easily replaced if once lost. When it happens to be lost he/she will be fined for replacement.
  • During the working hours order and silence are to be kept, and running, playing or shouting inside the classroom/school is never allowed.
  • Reading materials like books, newspapers and periodicals which are not prescribed in the syllabus may not be brought to the school without the prior sanction of The Principal. Mobile phone sets or any other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the school campus.
  • The school is not responsible for books, money, clothes etc. lost. Students must look after their own belongings. It is not advisable for them to bring valuable articles to the school.
FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS
  • Communication with parents is an important part to accomplish our goals for which the school will provide monthly planners, timely circulars and other information to keep the parents updated with its functions in the school.
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to check school handbook of their wards daily and sign the relevant page promptly if any remark is written in it by the teacher.
  • The principal is available for parent/guardians between 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.to 1:00 p.m. on working days.
  • Staff or the students may be contacted during the school hours, but only through the school office. They should never be approached directly in the class room or the staff room.
  • Parents are also requested to update their latest Mobile No. / WhatsApp No, with the class-teacher as well as the school office, to receive messages uninterruptedly.
  • We seek sincere efforts of the parents to abide by this information, rules and regulations of the school strictly so as to strengthen the dignity, decorum and discipline of the institution which in turn is for the betterment of our students.
FEES
  • The school fees are due in advance and should be paid before the 10th of every quarter. It may be paid on a quarterly or yearly basis in advance.
  • The bank Pay-In-Slip provided to you should be preserved for the whole year. If it is lost, a fine of ` 20 will be charged.
  • If the fees are not paid on or before the due date a fine of Rs 1 per day will be charged. After the last date of payment of fee with fine, the defaulter's name will be removed from the rolls. The student may be readmitted at the discretion of the principal but only on fresh payment of the Re-admission Fee.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Students of Std. X and XII should pay all their dues including the fee of the last quarter before their Preliminary Examinations.
  • No student will be allowed to take the Final Examination without having paid all the dues connected with Laboratory, N.C.C. and others if any, in the month of March.
  • The Tuition Fees is collected as per the F. R. C. guidelines.
HOME STUDY AND PARENTAL CO-OPERATION
  • Parents and guardians are expected to cooperate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline, helping their children or wards prepare their lessons and taking helpful interest in the activities of the school.
  • Parents and guardians are informed of the conduct and studies of their wards through the Hand-book or a phone call from school. They are expected to take note of the reports and messages with their counter signature and to confer with the principal and through him with the teachers concerned.
  • Students who fail to show these remarks and reports and get them countersigned by their parents are liable for action as per the discipline of the school.
  • Parents, guardians or other persons are not allowed to meet the students or meet their teachers during class-hours without the permission of the principal. The teachers should be met preferably in their off-periods or recess time, for which an appointment could be arranged beforehand. The diary-part of the handbook could be used for this purpose.
  • Private tuitions are discouraged as teachers are prohibited to take tuitions. No tuition material, reference books, guides, digests etc. should be brought to the school. Regular attendance and completion of homework are the best means to score good marks.
  • Parents/guardians are requested to notify the school office in writing regarding any change in their address or telephone number.
  • In all communication with the school, the name, standard and division of the child should be clearly mentioned. The School Management, Principal and Staff will not be held responsible in any way for any accident or mishap that may occur to the student in the school premises even during the school hours or while bringing the students to the school or carrying them back home by bus or any other vehicle. The sick student should not be sent to school.
EXAMINATIONS
  • 80% attendance is compulsory to appear for the Annual/Board Examinations. One must not remain absent from any examination except when prevented by reason of health in which case a medical certificate must be submitted.
  • In each semester Formative and Summative Assessment method suggested by the government will be the criteria adopted by the school.
  • Any kind of malpractice in the examination is liable for action with expulsion from the examination hall and subsequent cancellation of the paper or the whole examination.
  • Examination cannot be deferred nor can they be anticipated to suit individual convenience. No re-examination will be conducted in any subject. Absence from or failure in a subject excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of merit.
  • Parents are welcome to consult the subject teachers to make out the defects and common mistakes committed by their children in the answer sheet by going through them within two weeks of sending the results of the two semester examinations to them in the Handbook.
  • For Primary Section Physical Education, Value Education, G.K., Music, Drawing and Computer Science marks are not counted for rank in the Annual Exam.
  • The result of the Academic year shall be collected from the respective class teachers at the end of the year. Promotion is given to pupils as per the norms and rules set by the government time to time.
SCHOOL LIBRARY
  • The school has Library and Reading Rooms attached to it with a good number of books and periodicals regularly subscribed. These are to be made the best use of by students and teachers as well.
  • The books issued on request to each student by the Librarian during the Library Period under the direct supervision of the class-teacher can be kept for two weeks. At the end of which they are to be promptly returned. They can also be renewed once for another week.
  • The books are to be taken care of and used properly. While taking a new book out, any defect or damage must be notified to the Librarian immediately. Any fresh damage or loss of a book will be penalised.
  • One who fails to return the book on the due date will have to pay a fine of ` 5/- per day per book.
  • Reference Books will not be issued to be taken out of the library. They are accessible through librarian for reference in the library after recording in the Special Issue Register.
  • All the books and periodicals are issued only after verification and identification of students, for which they have to produce the Handbook/ID Card of school.
  • Periodicals and Newspapers in the Library can be used by everyone. They cannot be taken out of the Reading room. Current issues will never be issued out.
PICNIC
  • Class picnics may be held once in a year. A class day or a holiday may be used for the class picnic.
  • It is a class-activity and hence all are expected to attend. The class-teacher arranges and attends the picnic.
  • The picnic contribution is limited to the amount required for food and transport expenses, which will be equally divided among the students. Picnic of long duration may be arranged during holidays.
  • No picnic shall be arranged during the fortnight preceding an exam and during one month preceding the final examination.
  • All picnics require prior sanction of the principal. The teacher-in-charge will furnish the principal with complete details of participants, itinerary and schedules in advance and a report of events and expenses on return. The school authorities, management and staff will not be held responsible for any accident or mishap during the picnic, tours or excursions and journeys for matches, tournaments Competitions etc...
TALENT PERFORMANCE
  • Periodic programmes /celebration of different festivals are held at school to provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents.
AMENDMENT OF RULES
  • The Principal/Management has the right to introduce, amend or change the rules and regulations in case of exigencies (urgent need) and in furtherance (interest) of the aims and objects and ideals of the Trust and the School when necessity arises.
