With the aim of providing the values of character, discipline, hard work and shape them into dynamic and responsible citizens of the country our school offers the opportunity for students to join NCC. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the Indian military cadet corps which works to inculcate the qualities of discipline and patriotism among youth of the nation.
The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training. Adventure based activities enable cadets to achieve leadership skills and enhance their character qualities.
The students of our school organised a rally on 17/11/22, Thursday to create awareness about the need of making use of our Right to Vote. The students under the leadership of NCC Cadets went out to the streets of Jamnagar city with banners and placards spreading awareness about the importance of Voting. Some of our teachers also accompanied students under the leadership of Ms. Mital Shah, in charge of NCC.

Raksha Bandhan, the feast that gives the message of strong bond between brothers and sisters was celebrated in a meaningful way by our NCC cadets. The Girl Cadets of our unit visited the INS (Indian Naval Station) at Valsura on 11 th August to tie ‘Rakhi’. The officers of the unit welcomed them with brotherly love and spend their quality time with our cadets and encouraged them.
In order to develop the leadership skills, character formation, personal discipline and exposure to the field adventures seven-day camp was organised at the NCC Head Quarters, Valsura, Jamnagar. All of our cadets participated in this camp and enriched themselves with the tips for discipline in life and the courage to face the adventurous situations of life.
NCC Students organised a street play on 9 th August to create awareness among the public regarding the observation of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on the occasion of 75 th Independence Day of our nation. They dramatized the informations about when and where to hoist the flag, how to hoist flag at home, how to take care of the flag after the celebration is over etc.
In order to alarm the society regarding the use of ‘single use plastics’, 45 cadets of our unit prepared posters promoting ‘no use of plastic’ for a better tomorrow. They also organised a rally and street play on 8 th August to create awareness among the people about the destructive effects of single use plastics. They interacted with the people and the venders on the streets and educated them regarding the disadvantages of ‘single use plastics’. Unit Level drawing and speech competitions were also held to create awareness about the use of single use of plastics, in which students from 13 schools participated.
To eradicate the myths regarding the vaccination for Covid-19, 46 of our Cadets visited Theba village in Jamnagar and organised a street play with the theme, ‘the positive sides of taking Covid-19 vaccine’.
With the aim of conscientizing the students and public about the bad effects of using Tobacco, on World Anti-Tobacco Day, the NCC cadets of our school organised a street play and rally on 25 th June and 55 of them made their oath saying ‘no’ to Tobacco in their future life.
To impart the message of healthy life, in solidarity with the Government of India, Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC) organised a Yoga Session for the public of Jamnagar at Lakota Lake, Jamnagar on 21 st June. 100 cadets of our school actively participated in the event.
With the intention of spreading the message of protecting and respecting the nature, the NCC cadets of our school planted trees at their homes and pledged to protect them on the world Environment Day on 5 th June.
NCC Cadets of our school, under the leadership of Mital Shah, ANO of the unit, organised a cycle rally on 4 th June, 2022 with the motive of creating awareness and conscientizing the people of the city about Agnipath Scheme declared by the central government of India.
