Education is no more considered imparting mere information to an empty mind, because the post millennial minds are never empty of knowledge, rather it is a slave of it. Education today is not considered shaping an individual fit in a system, tradition and ideology. One of the important functions of education today can be freeing the mind from the conditioning and shaping knowledge, and to unravel the infinite potential of a child to shape an environment for himself and enlarge a horizon where he can be an integrated individual, capable of dealing with life as a whole. The pace of the change is unimaginable that no education system can visualize a future world so as to prepare a child fit into it. What little we can do is to be co learners with the post millennial kids, helping them meaningfully think, act and engage in an unpredictable world. St. Francis School Jamnagar is a rivulet that fetches the legacy of education from the C.M.I Congregation which initiated education for individual and social transformation two centuries ago. With our deep-rooted legacy of quality education, we are passionately engaged in moulding children by enlightening their minds with the light of knowledge, wisdom and truth. The school is a platform for young children to unravel their potentials and actualise them for the integral and wholistic individual development. St. Francis School, managed by Jamnagar C.M.I. Society, draws its academic legacy from the first indigenous religious congregation Carmelites of May Immaculate founded in the year 1831. The C.M.I congregation traces its roots of education to 1846 when the first Sanskrit school was founded at Mannanam, Kerala. Since then, we are convinced that the aim of all education is the formation of the human person for the fulfilment of his individual and social responsibilities. Conscious of this aim, we try to give an excellent and all-round formation to the students in our educational institution. Considering the fact that in education we share the responsibility of the nation, we make special efforts to co-ordinate our educational activities with the aims and goals of the nation so that our students may grow up as responsible citizens fully involved in the task on nation-building.
St. Francis School, the nurturing ground for the young knowledge seekers, aims at enlightening their minds by the moral,
