Celebrating 25 Years of ‘Enlightening Minds’

St. Francis School, established in the year 2000 by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) Congregation, is poised to celebrate its Silver Jubilee during the academic year 2024-25. Following the illustrious educational vision of its founder, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the school has ingrained in its ethos the values of justice, love, truth, and peace to nurture individuals who are intellectually adept, spiritually awakened, morally upright, psychologically balanced, physically robust, and socially responsible.

As the school embarks on this momentous occasion of its Silver Jubilee, it pauses to express gratitude to the Almighty for His blessings, which have fortified its journey of education and enlightenment. Equally, the school acknowledges the invaluable support and cooperation extended by parents, students, benefactors, and well-wishers over the past quarter-century. Their unwavering support has been the cornerstone of the school's success and progress.

St. Francis School enters the next phase of its journey with renewed zeal and determination, guided by its founding principles, driven by the collective aspiration, and supported by dedicated faculty members, to continue nurturing generations who will champion the cause of a just and humane society, where every individual's dignity is upheld, where inequitable social structures are challenged, and where cultural heritage is celebrated and preserved.

The Silver Jubilee celebrations serve as a poignant reminder of the school's rich legacy and a testament to its enduring commitment to excellence in education and the holistic development of its students.

Choose The Best

St. Francis School, managed by Jamnagar C.M.I. Society, draws its academic legacy from the first indigenous religious congregation Carmelites of May Immaculate founded in the year 1831. The C.M.I congregation traces its roots of education to 1846 when the first Sanskrit school was founded at Mannanam, Kerala. Since then, we are convinced that the aim of all education is the formation of the human person for the fulfilment of his individual and social responsibilities. Conscious of this aim, we try to give an excellent and all-round formation to the students in our educational institution. Considering the fact that in education we share the responsibility of the nation, we make special efforts to co-ordinate our educational activities with the aims and goals of the nation so that our students may grow up as responsible citizens fully involved in the task on nation-building.
